Training sessions will be led by one of our experienced Funded Nursing Care (FNC) nurse assessors and they will explain the FNC process fits into the overall NHS Continuing Healthcare Framework and how to complete a checklist. It is hoped that once participants have completed this training and feel confident in completing checklists, they will be able to cascade this training to other staff in their individual nursing homes. In order to ensure we have enough training sessions available we have restricted places to one per home.

This training is for individuals and their support networks who are having or who have had a ‘virtual’ sensory assessment. The aim of the training is to provide an overview to support understanding of sensory needs. The information in this training should not be copied or re shared without agreement from Ace Children’s Occupational Therapy.
