The Integrated Care Board (ICB) for Hampshire and the Isle of Wight can confirm that it has been informed by the GP Partner at Bury Road Surgery, Gosport, that he is going to retire at the end of March, 2023.
Bury Road remains open for its registered patients, who need to take no action.
Keeley Ellis, the ICB’s Locality Director (Primary Care) for South Eastern Hampshire, said: “We will keep patients informed of developments, including both our ICB website and the practice’s website.
“For the moment, Bury Road remains open and it’s very much business as usual for patients who need appointments or want to access other services.”
The ICB is meeting to discuss the future of the surgery with its main priority being to ensure that all its registered patients have continued access to the highest-possible primary care services beyond April 2023.
