4 May 2023

18 organisations and local charities across Hampshire and the Isle of Wight have been successful in bidding for funds from the No Wrong Door programme.

14 of these will receive funding from No Wrong Door and 4 have been given grants through a collaboration with Energise Me.

No Wrong Door (NWD) is the adult community mental health transformation programme across Hampshire, Southampton, the Isle of Wight, and Portsmouth. The NWD approach recognises that mental health is affected by a range of factors including someone’s quality of housing, employment, family and personal contacts, leisure and cultural activities, technological solutions, and access to other community resources such as green spaces.

As part of this project mental health services will work together with the community to ensure that care can be provided locally, and that support can be received in several settings for multiple aspects of a person’s life.

The No Wrong Door programme is working to dissolve barriers between primary care and hospital care, mental health and physical health, and health and social care, to deliver integrated, personalised, place based and well-coordinated care.

More than £100,000 will be shared between the successful organisations to be used between 1 April 2023 and 31 March 2024.
