Life After Stroke support service launching across Hampshire and Isle of Wight from 1 April
From 1 April 2025, stroke survivors and carers across Hampshire and the Isle of Wight will have access to vital Life After Stroke support, thanks to a new funding agreement between NHS Hampshire and Isle of Wight and the Stroke Association.
Local ‘Empowering Women’s Health event’ celebrates progress made and renews commitment to future collaboration
Partners from across Hampshire and the Isle of Wight came together for the NHS’s Empowering Women’s Health event on Monday 10 and Tuesday 11 March at the Portsmouth Guildhall. The two-day event showcased the partnership working that is improving health outcomes for local women, the growing network of local women’s health champions and identified areas for further collaboration.
NHS Hampshire and Isle of Wight Transformation Manager wins award for transforming youth engagement in health and social care
Local resident and Transformation Manager for NHS Hampshire and Isle of Wight, Helen Coleman, has been awarded the prestigious Action Hampshire Changemaker Award for Innovation in Community, Partnership and Development. The award recognises Helen’s significant contribution to increasing young people’s involvement in, and influence on, health and social care locally.
